More pictures of the Daisy cupcakes…from what I remember of Girl Scouts, the bridging ceremony involves a rainbow bridge. So I made rainbow cupcakes. I liked how the tops looked like tie-dye.
I thought I was being so smart by making three batches of batter - red velvet, lemon, and white (dyed blue), and then mixing them to make the other three colors. It turns out that it’s next to impossible to override the amount of red dye that’s in red velvet cake mix. So the orange is more of a rust color, and the purple is just way too dark. Live and learn.
The combination of flavors tasted surprisingly good, though.
